Ostend, April 23rd, 2006 Finally, after over a year of waiting, the new version of the Aviation Database, version 2, is released. The new version, V2.01, brings you great enhancements like an improved user interface, quick-search options, Image Manager, Location Manager, … People who already used the first version of the database don’t have to re-enter all data into the new version. Unfortunately, I could not build an update-system into V2 as the structure of one of the tables has changed. But future updates will include an update system for easy data-transfer from the old to the new version. As for users of the first version, the can mail the database (the Access-file only !) to andries.cafmeyer@gmail.com . The data will be transferred manually to the second version and will be mailed back. This because I promised V1-users they would be able to upgrade easily to V2 !
